Ohio State 2007 CHOKERS

The first 16 seconds of the BCS title game? All Ohio State. The rest of Monday night? All Florida in a 41-14 BLOW OUT, as the Gators responded to Ted Ginn's opening statement by murdering, smashing, destroying, routing, obliterating, massecuring, demolishing, beating the ever-loving tar out of OSU to claim the national championship.

How bout them Cowboys

Saturday in Seattle saw the beautiful fall of the Romo Empire as Tony Romo, who Cowboy fans called "the savior of Dallas" botched an EASY hold of a potential (notice I said potential because the defense would have let Seattle come right down the field and score) game winning FG to lose the game for his team as Seattle beat the Cowboys 21-20 in the NFC Wild Card round. Terrell Owens, who in the off-season signed a 3 year $25 million contract in hopes to bring the Cowboys to the promise land not only was a non factor in this game catching only two passes for 26 yards, but dropped his league-leading 20th catch of the season (He's back.....watching the playoffs at home!!!) against a secondary that had three (that's right) THREE starters out due to injury (way to attack that secondary Bill)

Denver Broncos Cornerback Darrent Williams Killed in Drive-By Shooting

DENVER — Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in downtown Denver early Monday morning, police said.

Team spokesman Jim Saccomano said police called him about 3 a.m. from the scene of the shooting and told him three people had been shot and that Williams had been killed.,p>
Saccomano said he spoke with coach Mike Shanahan and others in the organization.

"Complete shock. We're speechless. It takes words away. A terrible tragedy," Saccomano said.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said that a little after 2 a.m. local time, the white Hummer limousine that Williams and two others were traveling in was sprayed with bullets from a vehicle that came up along its side.

All three people in the limousine were hit. They were taken to area hospitals, where Williams was pronounced dead. The other victims, a male and a female, were not identified. Hours before the shooting, the Broncos lost to San Francisco 26-23 in overtime, eliminating them from the playoff race.
