World Baseball Classic
The World Baseball Classic is to begin this Friday. For full coverage, go to
Baseball Today for Tomorrow. I have set up a standing list on the left hand side.
Since we won't be having any real picks for us here at ESBN and BTFT, we have decided to post predictions on who will advance out of the pools. Two team will advance in each pool and there are four pools, do the math.
Daddio-Stevio: Pool A:
Chinese Taipei and Japan; Pool B:
Mexico, USA; Pool C:
Cuba, Puerto Rico; Pool D:
Dominican Republic, Venezuela. Going further: Japan vs USA and Cuba vs Dominican Republic. Going even further: USA vs Dominican Republic. On March 19, I will post my pick. Keep in ming, that my real picks are the ones to advance out of the pool play. Playoffs predictions are prelim, so dont get a hissy fit. More on that as the WBC progresses.

Keep in mind that these picks count towards your standings. No picks means good things for me. Each correct pick will bne a win, and each wrong pick will be charged a loss. Don;t forget that we will also have individual game picks and Soup Bowl II on March 20.

Awe, isnt it a shame, two teams have already advanced to the finals, so, with the exceptions of James and myself, who both suffer one loss apiece, everyone else suffered 2! My recommendation, make you picks NOW!
